Enjoying the Weekend at IIMS 2014
JAKARTA, Sep 27, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Nearing the last day of Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) 2014, sole agents and the committee present various entertainment programs for the weekend to attract visitors to come to the venue. During weekend, many visitors come with their family to enjoy the entertainments as well as appealing promotion programs offered by the exhibitors.
As in previous weekend, on this weekend nearly all exhibitors, whether the ones in the indoor or the outdoor area, are getting ready to offer their best entertainment programs. At Hall A, lucky visitors will have the chance to enjoy the show by world famous band from UK, Arkarna, which is scheduled to perform at Suzuki's booth. In the same Hall, the country's top singers such as Tompi and Ada Band will enliven Mazda's booth. At Hall D, visitors can enjoy Maliq & D'essentials, Endah & Resha and Geisha as well as Raisa who will perform at Nissan's booth. For this weekend, Daihatsu will present The Dance Company. Toyota will invite Naif, Tulus, and Kotak to entertain visitors while Honda's booth presents youth girl band, JKT 48.
For those who love self-portrait photography, or selfie, Ford's booth at Hall D offers Ford Boost Me. To participate in the program, visitors only need to write down his/her name and email address then take picture with Eco Boost Me. Participants can see their picture at Ford Indonesia's Facebook fanpage at www.facebook.com/fordindonesia, and they are required to hit the 'like' button, and to 'tag' and 'share' the picture to their friends. Ford will pick daily winner based on best expression during the photo session. The winner of the daily Eco Boost Me challenge will win USB Card, iPod Shuffle, and a chance to win the grand prize, GoPro Hero 3+.
Meanwhile, Tata Motors booth at Hall C provides Kids Corner complete with drawing and coloring tools. Children who visit the booth or use the Kids Corner facility will receive free gifts, a hat in the shape of animal characters such as bear, panda, or sharks.
As reported previously, visitors of IIMS 2014 will have the chance to enjoy adrenaline-challenging program, Gymkhana Race War that takes place at the loading area of Hall D. Today is the final day of the auto sport program and stunts performed by the racers will definitely offers a memorable moment for visitors. Besides Gymkhana Race War, the outdoor area also offers Hot Wheels Race & Festival at the outdoor area of semi-permanent Hall C.
Miss Motor Show 2014
One of the supporting programs of IIMS 2014 is the 'Miss Motor Show 2014' that attracts quite high attention. The participants of 'Miss Motor Show 2014' are the representative from sole agents and the supporting industry. The criteria are based on their personality and knowledge on the product they represent as well as about IIMS 2014, and their beauty and outfit. On Friday (26/09), the committee has selected 15 grand finalists of 'Miss Motor Show 2014' and they are Intan Debby (Toyota), Febrizky (Daihatsu), Lilis (Honda), Ratih, Adisty and Tasya (Mercedes-Benz), Nadira (Suzuki), Jennifer, Selvia, Regina, and Gladys (Ford), Ismi Iskandar (Chevrolet), Zi Priscilla (Tata Motors), Valentine (Infiniti), Hana Himawan (FAW). The committee will select seven winner based on for each category and the winner of 'Miss Motor Show 2014' will be announced during the Closing Ceremony due to take place on Saturday night (27/09).
Comforting Facility at IIMS 2014
On Saturday (27/09), the committee still offering ease of transportation to reach the venue of IIMS 2014 using free shuttle bus service which are available at several pickup points namely at Central Park, Artha Gading Mall, Margo City Depok, Plaza Senayan, Pondok Indah Mall, and Tamini Square and new point at Juanda train station. For those who used the free shuttle bus at fx Sudirman, the committee offers free parking ticket for an hour.
The committee also prepares alternative parking spaces at Mega Glodok Kemayoran and Mangga Dua Square. On both areas, the committee also provides free shuttle bus to ease visitors to come to the venue and vice versa. For those who live Bandung and its surrounding area, the committee again collaborates with intercity travel service, Day Trans, to provide shuttle service with pickup points at Cihampelas, Dipatiukur, and Pasteur.
Visitors who want to recharge their gadgets can use the Charging Corner provided by the committee at several points within the venue for free. Arifin, one of visitors who use the facility expressed his appreciation. "At IIMS, our gadgets easily run out of battery because we often take pictures of the cars... and the girls," said Arifin with a smile.
After enjoying various cars and entertainment programs at IIMS, visitors can relax a bit at the new food court area that provides meals and beverages. This year, the area is taking a new location at the left side of the Trade Center Building (GPN), JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta. Here, visitors can enjoy various meals and beverages offered by tenants such as Bakmi GM, Es Teler 77, Bale Lombok, CC Box, Bakmi Gang Kelinci, JI EXPO Cafe, Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack, Ayam Goreng & Pempek Pak Ndut, Mie Kocok Marika, Ayam Goreng Ludes, Zahra Turkish Ice Cream, Nasi Goreng Senayan, Soto Daging Madura, Soto Ayam Ambengan, Sate Ayam Bu Sri, Bakso Malang, Kantin Surabaya, Kantin Bu Pur, and Siomay Bandung.
