Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Free Shuttle Buses Gives Comfort and Ease for Visitors

JAKARTA, INDONESIA, Sep 24, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - One of the vital aspects in organizing an exhibition is providing comfort and easy access for visitors. This is one of the main concerns of the committee of Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) that is being held at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. Visitors who reside in the South, West, North, and East of Jakarta, or even those who live outside Jakarta certainly need supporting facilities that help to reach the exhibition venue easily.

Addressing the issue, the committee of IIMS 2013 offers easy access and comfort through a free shuttle bus service that takes visitors to and from the venue to several strategic meeting points around Jakarta area.

This year, the committee has set out several pick up points for the free shuttle bus services - Pondok Indah Mall 2, Senayan Square Plaza Senayan, Central Park, Margo City, Tamini Square, Mal Artha Gading, and several Carrefour outlets namely Carrefour Puri Indah, Lebak Bulus, Cempaka Putih, and MT Haryono. The shuttle bus service is operating from 11 AM (from the meeting points around Jakarta) until 9 PM (the last bus leaving the exhibition venue). The departure is arranged per hour so visitors would not have to wait too long to arrive at the venue.

Visitors find the free shuttle bus service quite helpful, which is evident from the high number of visitors who use the service. The condition at the meeting points shows that the most visited meeting points for the free shuttle bus service are at the Pondok Indah Mall 2 and Senayan Square Plaza Senayan.

"The free shuttle bus service is really useful to me. My office is located in Sudirman area so if I want to visit IIMS at Kemayoran, I only need to go to Plaza Senayan and arrive here without having to pay anything else," said Maria, an employee in Jakarta who visited the venue yesterday.

"For the comfort and ease of visitors, the committee is providing the option to visit IIMS using the free shuttle bus service. Using this bus, visitors do not have to spend much time looking for parking lots, especially during the weekend peak time. By using the shuttle service, visitors will be dropped off at the venue without having to worry about parking," said Abiyoso Wietono, Automotive Division Manager, Dyandra Promosindo. The free shuttle bus service is proven to be effective and of interest to visitors, especially during the weekend. Every bus that entered the venue was packed with visitors and left no empty seat.

The committee also prepares other facilities related to parking, such as an additional parking area located at Mega Glodok Kemayoran (MGK), only 6 minutes from JIExpo, Kemayoran. From the MGK area, visitors will be picked up to and from the venue using shuttle buses. These facilities are provided to help visitors who do not want to be bothered with finding a parking space in the biggest auto show in South East Asia.

Meanwhile, visitors who reside outside Jakarta, particularly Bandung area, can use DayTrans service to get to the venue. The meeting points for Bandung area are in Cihampelas, Dipatiukur, and Pasteur. To attract visitors to the service, DayTrans holds a special promo by offering 1 free ticket to IIMS for every purchase of 2 DayTrans ticket to JIExpo, Kemayoran. For visitors' comfort, the bus used in this service is a 25-seat capacity bus.

Culinary and Massage a la IIMS 2013

Besides transportation services, IIMS 2013 also provides other services in the exhibition area such as free massage. This year, the committee places several electric massage chairs, provided by Advance, to visitors who wish to take a break after looking around the exhibition area. The electric massage chairs are located at Hall B, next to Chrysler Booth. Every day, numerous visitors take the chance to enjoy the electric massage before continuing to explore the exhibition area.

One of the visitors who used the massage facility, Santi, said the chair helps her to ease her fatigue after exploring the exhibition area. "It helps me ease my back and feet. At home I would never enjoy such facility while here I can get it for free," said Santi, smiling.

Another crucial facility provided by the committee is the Food Hall located at Hall E. Here, visitors can enjoy various cuisines and beverages at affordable prices while taking a break. Some of the restaurants that visitors can find at Food Hall are Gudeg Mbok Kliwon, Din Tai Fung, Bakmi GM, Kick Chick, Nasi Goreng Senayan, Sate Khas Senayan, Hung Town, Oenpao, Sushi Kios, Chicken Chick, Es Teler 77, Bakso Wonogiri, Pondok Pecel Madiun Ibu Iyus, RM Nasi Kapau Sabana Bana, JIExpo Cafe, Talaga, and Kerak Telor, Toge Goreng Khas Betawi, and Sate Ayam, located at the outer side of Hall E. The Food Hall is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM.
