NEC、気候変動や水セキュリティに関する先進的な取り組みによりCDPから最高評価「Aリスト」企業に4年連続選定

東京, 2022年12月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、国際的な非営利組織のCDP(注1)から、気候変動および水管理に対する取り組みとその情報開示が評価され、気候変動および水セキュリティの2部門において、最高評価である「Aリスト」企業に4年連続で選定されました。

NECは「NEC 2030VISION」で「地球と共生して未来を守る」を掲げ、脱炭素をESG視点の経営優先テーマ「マテリアリティ」の一つとして位置づけています。2025中期経営計画に取り組む中で、脱炭素社会の実現、地球温暖化への対応、水・食の安全に貢献するソリューション提供につとめています。

自らの事業活動においても、SBT1.5度(注2)達成に向けた事業運営はもとより、2021年10月に「Business Ambition for 1.5度」(注3)に署名し2050年までのサプライチェーン全体での温室効果ガス排出量実質ゼロ化を宣言しました。さらにこの宣言を10年前倒しで達成することも視野に入れ、活動を加速させています。
