三菱電機、インドでFA制御システム製品の新工場を建設

インドにおけるFA制御システム製品の生産能力増強

東京, 2022年06月07日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、需要増加が見込まれるインドのFA制御システム製品の事業拡大に向け、インドの製造･販売拠点であるMitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd.（三菱電機インド、以下、MEI）に約31億円を投資し、FA制御システム製品の新工場を建設します。

インドのFA市場は、自動車、食品･飲料、医薬品、データセンター、繊維などの業種を中心に、年率約8%の成長を続けており、今後もさらに市場拡大が見込まれます。

インドにおける当社のFA制御システム事業は、1990年代半ばに事業を開始して以降、2012年にインドのFA制御システム製品メーカーを買収し、開発拠点の開設やサービス拠点の拡充に加え、2013年にインドでの生産を開始するなど、継続的な事業体制強化を進めてきました。

当社は今回、インドのマハラシュトラ州プネ近郊に新工場を建設し、消費地での生産を拡大することで、今後の需要増加に対応した安定供給を実現し、インド政府のMake in India政策に貢献します。また、CO2排出量削減の取り組みを強化することで、カーボンニュートラルの実現を目指します。
