Honda、新型「CIVIC TYPE R」が鈴鹿サーキットで最速ラップタイムを更新

東京, 2022年04月07日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、鈴鹿サーキット国際レーシングコースで、新型「CIVIC TYPE R（シビックタイプアール）」の最終的な性能評価のための走行テストを行い、FFモデルで最速※1となる、2分23秒120※2のラップタイムを記録しました。

今回の走行テストは量産前の最終開発車両で行われました。従来の最速ラップタイムは、徹底した軽量化や専用装備によりピュアスポーツ性能を追求した先代のシビック TYPE R Limited Edition（リミテッド・エディション）が記録したものですが、そのタイムを更新したことは、新型シビック TYPE Rのサーキット性能がさらに向上していることを示しています。

なお、新型シビック TYPE Rは、2022年夏の登場を予定しています。
