RICS announces award finalists for Hong Kong property industry's highest honours
HONG KONG, Jan 17, 2018 - (Media OutReach) - RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) announces the finalists for the Hong Kong property industry's highest honours, the RICS Awards 2018 Hong Kong.
The RICS Awards jury has shortlisted 35 nominations in 13 categories after receiving 60 nominations from a diverse range of sectors within the built industry. Winners will be announced on 23 March 2018 at the RICS Annual Dinner and Awards Hong Kong Presentation Ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
For seven consecutive years, the RICS Awards Hong Kong has recognised outstanding achievements of Hong Kong's built environment professionals. The awards' showcase inspires and encourages progress in the local property and construction industries through the promotion of best practices and globally recognised professional standards.
"Our jury panel was tasked with selecting the most eligible recipients from an incredibly competitive field of leading projects, teams and nominations," said RICS Hong Kong Board Chair Mr Clement LAU FRICS. "RICS received an overwhelming response; the outstanding submissions continue to illustrate the excellence of Hong Kong's world class built environment."
Judged by a Jury Panel of 13 senior real estate industry leaders, the awards were evaluated upon the basis of professionalism, achievement, innovation and teamwork. "The awards were highly contested and the margin separating winning nominations was very narrow," said Jury Panel Chair Mr Chris BROOKE FRICS. "We were delighted to see such enthusiasm and commitment throughout all categories of the awards."
