The Company's payment module can be fully integrated with watches, jewellery and a number of other of accessories, and provides a high level of security while enabling seamless payments and transactions.
"The payment module is equipped with patented NFC-enabled antenna that allows nearly all quartz and most mechanical movement to fit into a movement holder which could be assembled into stainless steel watch cases. This allows users to wear almost any timepieces of their own preferences without being limited to the few designs of electronic watches by payment wearable brands. The Company's "Flexitag", also equipped with NFC-enabled antenna, is battery-free, bendable and detachable, and can be integrated with various types of watchbands and jewellery."
With Tappy's payment module for timepieces and the Flexitag for jewellery, users are able to make payments without the need of taking out their wallets or smartphones. There are few simple steps to get started with it. First, users will need to photograph their credit card using the Tappy mobile app. Then, their Tappy account and wearables should be paired up and synchronized. After that, users will be able to use their wearables to pay for their purchases.
Achieving global EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) & UnionPay Standards, Tappy's "payment module" and "Flexitag" uses the Gemalto solution in the form of pre-paid or tokenisation payment. Users can load funds via a mobile app from their bank accounts to their timepieces or jewellery integrated with the "payment module" or "Flexitag". Payments can be made globally at contactless payment terminals which support Visa, MasterCard, American Express and UnionPay. The wearables can load up to 8 credit cards via the provided app and brings about great convenience to everyday life.
Apart from contactless payment for everyday purchases, Tappy's "payment modules" and "Flexitag" are IoT devices that can connect to common use data. In the future, Tappy can be developed into an all-in-one device that encompasses car connections, boarding passes, cinema tickets, retail coupons and loyal cards.
"Tappy is actively promoting innovative and user-friendly designs in the markets of timepiece and jewellery. Combining the technologies of contactless payment with the design of timepieces and jewellery, Tappy's products will become the trendsetter of these markets and bring brand new smart payment experiences to users."
