Hong Kong Investor Relations Association Announces the Winners of its 1st IR Awards

An Exceptional Who's Who List of IR Professionals and Hong Kong Listed Companies are Honored

HONG KONG, May 09, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA) today announced the winners of its inaugural HKIRA 1st Investor Relations Awards. Guests from listed companies and the IR profession were present at today's IR Awards Conference and the Awards Presentation Ceremony to celebrate the winners' IR excellence and their dedication to IR best practice. HKIRA was honored to have Mr. Romnesh Lamba, Co-Head of Global Markets, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited as the keynote speaker for the Award Presentation Ceremony.

In the HKIRA 1st IR Awards, more than 480 nominations in the various award categories have been received for about 190 Hong Kong listed companies. Over 100 listed companies confirmed participation, including 32 Large Cap, 36 Mid Cap, 34 Small Cap and 6 IPOs (2 of the IPO companies are also nominated in Small Cap award categories). Winners are based on voting from domestic and overseas investment community. More than 340 eligible voters have casted an aggregate of approximately 4,200 votes for their best choices of IR professionals and companies.

The Judging Panel concurred to withhold the Overall Best IR Company Award for Small Cap and looked forward to ongoing efforts in the adoption of IR best practices by Small Cap companies and the listed companies in Hong Kong as a whole."

Best IR practice enables listed companies to maintain high standards of corporate governance through timely and transparent communications with their stakeholders.
