SolarWinds Establishes IT Services Operations in Manila, Philippines
New Location Will Allow SolarWinds to Continue to Expand and Enhance Its Global Operations Supporting a Diverse Number of Business Functions
AUSTIN, TX and TOKYO, May 12, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software for more than 150,000 companies worldwide, announced today that it has established a new IT Shared Services location in Manila, Philippines, specifically Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. The expansion into this new market will enable SolarWinds to provide even stronger support for the company's global operations.
SolarWinds was established in 1998 and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The company employs more than 1300 people worldwide and is headquartered in Austin, Texas with a number of additional North American sites. The Fort Bonifacio site will be far more than a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) site, which is typical of most operations in the area. SolarWinds Fort Bonifacio operation will support a wide range of business disciplines including IT Product Support, Sales, Finance, and Operations. The company plans to fill a number of positions, including IT support roles.
