Kreab Tokyo: New Appointments And Change Of Company Registration
TOKYO, Dec 28, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Kreab announces changes to Tokyo management structure and company name in Japan.
Kreab announced today that it has appointed Jonathan Kushner as Managing Partner for Asia, and Masami Doi as Managing Partner for Tokyo. Kreab will also officially shorten and revise its official company registration in Japan to Kreab K.K.
Kushner, who has been serving concurrently as Managing Partner of Kreab Tokyo and Head of the Asia Region, will take on the new role of Managing Partner Asia. He will oversee all Kreab offices in Asia, including Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Beijing, and will remain on the board of Kreab K.K.
At the same time Doi, who has been serving as Senior Partner in Tokyo, will become Managing Partner for Kreab Tokyo.
Both Kushner and Doi will continue to be based in Tokyo, and will work closely to further develop Kreab's strategic consulting offerings in corporate and financial communications and public affairs across Japan and Asia.
Kreab's new structure is poised to support the growing demand from Japanese clients for issues management counsel globally. Kreab will also be well-positioned to provide enhanced support to Japanese companies' activities overseas.
Together with this change, Kreab Tokyo will shorten and revise its official company registration to Kreab K.K. following Kreab's global name change. Celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2015, Kreab, headquartered in Sweden, continues to provide global consulting offerings across 25 locations around the world.
All changes will be effective from January 1, 2016.
Jonathan Kushner, Managing Partner Asia (from January 1, 2016)
Jonathan Kushner is Managing Partner Asia, responsible for Kreab's offices in Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore, and overseeing all activities in the region. He has been Managing Partner Tokyo since September 2012, and in November 2014 concurrently became Head of Asia. Kushner is Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ). He joined Kreab from AIG, where he was Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs, covering Japan and Korea, a position he held from 2008. Prior to AIG, he was with Microsoft in corporate affairs and government-facing roles, posted in Tokyo and Singapore.
Masami Doi, Managing Partner Tokyo (from January 1, 2016)
Masami Doi has extensive experience in public affairs and corporate communications in Japan and globally. A 30-year veteran of Toyota Motor Corporation who headed the automaker's global communications activities, Doi joined Kreab as a Partner at the firm's Tokyo office in January 2014. Since joining Kreab, Doi has provided strategic counsel to a number of private and public sector clients and advised on various global communications initiatives. Doi, who spent the last six years at Toyota in charge of public affairs, has extensive experience of reputation management, including advising on the company's response to recall issues in the U.S., as well as of corporate planning, sales and marketing and human resources. Doi is also an honorary fellow at Yamagata University, Japan.
