MTA VIETNAM2015: Metalworking Industry in Vietnam Set For Upwards Growth

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM, Jun 03, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - The Vietnamese government has projected that the steel and metal working industries has been growing at a rate of 17 per cent in 2015 compared to the previous year. This growth is expected to continue with government policies aimed at supporting economic development[1].

As a consequence, multinational corporations such as Intel, Piaggio, Samsung and Toyota have flocked to Vietnam to set up regional bases and factories. Especially for the steel industry, there are substantial projects such as Formosa Ha Tinh and Posco SS Vinaa that are currently being deployed.

MTA VIETNAM2015 will be highlighting the latest metal working technologies, equipment and solutions from around the world to the Vietnam market.

International brands - leaders in the metal cutting, metal forming, test & measurement, cutting tools and tooling system sectors, such as Amada, Bystronic, Blum, Dine, DMG Mori, Guehring, Haas, Hurco, Hwa Cheon, Hexagon, Hoffmann, Makino, Mazak, Mitutoyo, Mitsubishi Electric, Nikon, NT Tool, Optical Gaging, OKK, Okamoto, Renishaw, Sandvik, Sodick, Seyi, TRUMPF, Wenzel, YG-1 and many others will be returning to meet the increasing demand by Vietnamese companies.

Amada, a Japanese manufacturer of metal cutting, forming, shearing, and punching machines, will be participating at MTA VIETNAM2015. The company will be launching their latest, state-of-the-art fibre laser cutting machines and technologies. Designed to improve productivity and work efficiency, the machines provides high cutting speeds, the ability to cut highly reflective materials and low operating costs.

Enriching workshops and conferences

Held alongside the exhibition will be various workshops and conferences delving into the latest trends and issues pertinent to the manufacturing industry. Experts from the Lean Six Sigma Network and MesLab will be sharing their knowledge and experiences with peers and industry professionals. The seminars will focus on enhancing productivity and quality of the manufacturing sector.
