Northgate Public Servicesの社名変更について

東京, 2021年02月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECの子会社である英国のNorthgate Public Services(以下、NPS)は、2021年7月より社名をNEC Software Solutions UKに変更します。NPSは、社名変更によりグローバルなNECブランドの下、英国を中心に自治体、警察、ヘルスケア、公営住宅等の領域でソフトウェアを活用したSaaS型ビジネスを展開し、行政のデジタル化の推進に貢献していきます。

NPSはNECによる買収以降、英国において警察に加え司法、ヘルスケア分野で複数のソフトウェア関連企業を買収するなどソリューションの拡充と事業領域の拡大を進め、NECグループ全体への利益貢献を果たしています。とりわけ、英国の警察市場では、英国最大の警察組織であるロンドン警視庁から受注するなど、犯罪事案管理プラットフォーム「CONNECT」が50%以上のシェアを有しています。NPSは社名変更を機にNECとのシナジーをさらに発揮し、パブリック領域全体でのイノベーションを推進していきます。

NECはNPSはじめ欧州における買収会社を中核にして、デジタルガバメントとデジタルファイナンスのソフトウェア事業において、グローバルトップポジションを目指します。
