十勝農協連と富士通、AIを活用した病害虫診断システム実証から構築段階へ

営農指導による競争力強化を実現

東京, 2020年03月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 十勝農業協同組合連合会（注1）（以下、十勝農協連）と富士通株式会社（注2）（以下、富士通）は、2020年4月より、生産者がスマートフォンで撮影した甜菜（てんさい）の写真をもとにAIが病害虫を特定し、十勝農協連が病害虫および農薬の散布方法などの情報を生産者に提示する病害虫診断システムの構築に着手し、2021年度から本システムの運用を開始します。

本システムでは、病害虫を判別するAI学習モデルを、十勝農協連が収集した病害虫の画像データをもとに富士通が開発し、甜菜に発生する褐斑病（かっぱんびょう）およびヨトウムシの特定を実現します。本システム構築に先立ち、一般社団法人農林水産業みらい基金（注3）（以下、みらい基金）の助成を受けて、2019年に両者が実施した実証実験では、病害虫を特定するAI学習モデルの平均適合率90%以上を達成しました。

十勝農協連は、本システムを活用し、病害虫の発生場所や日時を十勝全域で把握することで、効果的な農薬散布を行うとともに、生産者に営農指導を行うことで、生産者のコスト削減、作業負荷軽減、競争力強化を支援します。富士通は、本システムを通じて、持続可能な農業生産に貢献するサービスモデルを検討し、農業分野のDXを強力に推進していきます。
