三菱重工、第56回技能五輪全国大会「構造物鉄工」で金メダルを獲得

ほかに「構造物鉄工」と「電気溶接」で各1人が敢闘賞、併せて3人が入賞者に

東京, 2018年11月06日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は、11月2日（金）から5日（月）まで沖縄県で開催された第56回技能五輪全国大会において、当社からは「構造物鉄工」「電気溶接」「メカトロニクス」「旋盤」の4職種で10人の選手が出場し、「構造物鉄工」職種で金メダルを獲得しました。

金賞を受賞したのは、牧野寛也選手（21歳、パワードメイン、勤務地：神戸造船所）で、2019年8月にロシア連邦カザン（タタールスタン共和国）で開催される第45回技能五輪国際大会に日本代表として出場する権利を得ました。
また、「構造物鉄工」職種および「電気溶接」職種でもそれぞれ1人が敢闘賞を受賞しています。

三菱重工グループでは、三菱日立パワーシステムズ株式会社（MHPS）から29人が6職種に出場。銀メダル1個と銅メダル3個を獲得したほか、8人が敢闘賞を受賞し、グループとして15人が入賞の栄誉に輝きました。

技能五輪全国大会は、青年技能者の技能レベルの日本一を競う技能競技大会で、次代を担う青年技能者に努力目標を与えるとともに、大会開催地域の若年者に優れた技能を身近にふれる機会を提供することなどを目的として毎年開かれています。今大会では、42種目に1,292人の選手が参加し、熱い戦いを繰り広げました。

当社は今後も、技能五輪への参加を通じて、ものづくりに携わる若い技能者の育成と技術伝承に力を注いでいきます。
