NEC、「2層ERP」により自社基幹システムを強化

海外グループ会社向けにクラウド型ERPソリューション「SAP(R) Business ByDesign」を採用

東京, 2016年09月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、さらなるグローバル経営強化のため、自社の中堅・中小規模の海外グループ会社に対して、SAP社のクラウド型ERPソリューション「SAP(R) Business ByDesign」を用いた基幹システムを順次導入・展開します。導入第一号として、NECニュージーランド社で本年9月からシステム稼働を開始しました。

本取り組みは、本社・主要拠点に導入済のコアERP（1層目）を保持しつつ、その他拠点には柔軟性が高く短期間かつ低コストで導入可能なERP（2層目）を展開することで、グローバルでの全体最適を図る「2層ERP」の考え方に基づくものです。

これにより、各国の法制度・商習慣やビジネス環境の変化への迅速かつ柔軟な対応を可能としつつ、グループ全体の基幹システムの標準化を図ることで、ガバナンスの強化や連結経営管理のスピードアップ、基幹業務の安定運用、システム運用コストの削減などを実現します。

NECは、今回の自社での2層構造でのERP導入・展開ノウハウをモデル化し顧客企業へ提供することで、グローバル経営の高度化に貢献します。
